Their are two categories of Softball leagues in the Urbana area.

Urbana Junior Hawks Softball League:

The Junior Hawks Softball League has five different age levels. The majority of home games our played at Urbana High School.  Sign-ups are traditionally in January, but you can email Barb Taylor to find out exact dates and times.  The age levels are as follows.

  • Girls 8 and under, 8-10, 10-12, 12-14 and 14-18 year olds

Maryland Express Fast Pitch Tournament Softball Team:

The Maryland Express Tournament Softball Team is a highly competitive traveling team.  Most of the games are held Maryland and Virginia.  Their season starts in May and ends sometime around August.  This team prepares year around for the season.  Ages for the tournament team are 14-18 years of age and try-outs begin in November.  Email Barb Taylor for details.
