About Us
Organized in 1982, the Urbana Recreation
Council has served the community for over 18 years. Whether its an
Easter egg hunt for our children or a typical Tuesday night drop-in adult
volleyball session, our council has always been there to serve its
community.
Our mission is to clearly serve the
community to the best of our ability. This includes providing
activities for our kids and adults alike. The Urbana Recreation Council members are not
required to meet any certain criteria regarding length of time living in
the community or any specific volunteer experience.
